Ordering wainscoting is simple...

          When ordering wainscoting, simply copy the illustrated samples below in a way that shows your situations. If you are measuring for Straight wainscoting (illustration # 1), we need to know the different ending conditions so that we can make the proper allowances (examples are, outside corner, inside corner, window, door, etc.). When measuring width, always measure several times in different locations & take the smallest measurement. This is what it will be built to.

          If you are measuring for your Stairs , it is important to give us the angle using a level and a carpenters square(see illustration # 2B). Also show us the hieghts of the stringer(skirt board) ends and length of the stringer(skirt board) (also shown in illustration # 2A).

          If you are measuring for under stairs (illustration # 3), we need you to map out that wall. We will then lay out this wall in our CADD program and make an appealing panel configuration.

          We will allow for some fudge room. We realize measurements can be off slightly.

Installation is simple too... We will manufacture all the panels and stiles so that they fit the measurements you give us. We will make the top & bottom rails longer than needed so that you can trim them to fit perfectly. The pieces you will get are all tongue & grooved, and slide together easily. You will put a dab of glue in each joint (between stiles & rails) and nail to wall through the horizontal top and bottom rails only.

With the carpenters square in the level position, above the stringer(skirt board), measure A, B, & C. Try to get as accurate as you can. This will give us the correct angle. Don't worry, we will check these measurements for accuracy.
